Paul studied oil painting at Arizona State University focusing on the techniques of the Old Masters 
Many of his original oil paintings are created using encaustics, a technique where beeswax is heated, mixed with pigment and applied to the canvas.
Paul receives much of his inspiration from the grandeur of our first National Park–Yellowstone and loves to paint landscapes.
Paul says of his future in art, “My current style is impressionistic, but it is forever changing. Just like my music and my art, my life is always evolving. That’s what makes it an adventure.”
On location painting is his favorite. He has painted at the Grand Canyon National Park, Alaska’s Glacier Bay National Park, and in Montana at Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks. Paul loves the Arizona and Utah desert lands.
